Who is this Levi (Levy) Sheppard, anyway?
He is a very dangerous man. Just kidding. Or am I? I am. That I am.
Levi Sheppard is a transliteration of my given,”Christian” name. Levi Sheppard is my “magick” name, or the one I use for my interactions with the public, anyhow. There is another magick name that only I know, which is used in my private magickal operations. But I ain’t giving that one away.
Like many magicky-witchy types, I’ve been slingin’ spells since before I had an awareness of the things that I was doing even being potentially defined as “Magick”. Once that epiphany came about, I got into mystical shit a bit more earnestly…for a time. And then it faded somewhat, for many years.
But ya can’t keep a good man down, dammit!
Just after relocating to the great free state of Texas, a series of events occurred that resulted, ultimately, in a rather over-the-top experience that I refer to as my “ReAwakening”.
There are many people amongst you, these days, who are experiencing an Awakening for the first time. Folks are opening their eyes (all three of ’em!) to see past all the bullshit, past the illusions that surround us, and get a glimpse of the Real World, to borrow a Matrix phrase. In my case, I had some experience with that stuff already, hence “RE-awakening”.
And boy howdy, when it hit, it came hard and fast! I rode the Crazytrain of Enlightenment straight through the goddamn walls. It was just a lot to take in all at once. Some questionable decisions were made, there are things I could have handled more tactfully, etc. My only regret is not being more attentive to how my decisions might affect the ones I love. But everything happens for a reason…yes, it’s all random chaos but the prior statement is also true. The universe is crazy like that!
One thing I know for certain is this: If there is one thing that I have to really offer the world, it’s knowledge and insight that I’ve gained through personal experience – through gnosis, meditation, and conference with “spirits”, (entities, aspects of collective consciousness, call them what you will). I have connected a lot of dots and I continue to bat at the threads til they unravel all over the place and I continue to dive deep down the rabbit holes, everyday. I’ve found a great deal of interesting stuff amongst that thread and in them holes.
And now, I can share it with you, World! That’s the plan, anyway.
